Pickleball at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel is an experience every pickleballer in Chicago should have on their bucket list. This iconic location has two courts. The Stagg Court features a wood floor in the building’s basketball gym. “The Tank” has a mosaic tile floor resembling the building’s pool that used to be there.
Each gym has just one doubles court so you’ll have the room to yourselves with plenty of unobstructed space around the outside. Get a group together and book a rental. Check out the availability below.

Additional Information
The court rental is a flat rate no matter how many people are with your group. Please make sure your group is respectful of games taking place on the other courts at this location. There may be rentals or other games immediately before or after yours on the court you are renting, so please respect the time frame for your rental. Pick up after yourselves and make sure you leave with all of your belongings. We are not responsible for lost items.
What’s included in your rental
Your rental guarantees your time on the court. Nets are included at the court. A Grab A Game and/or Chicago Sport and Social Club representative will ensure your court is accessible at your rental time and the net is set up. You may bring your own racket/paddle and balls. Paddles are available for rent for $10 per court (up to 4 paddles). Balls available to borrow.
Weekly Pickup Games & Learn to Play Sessions
Each person registers for themselves for pickups and Learn to Play sessions.
Doubles Pickups ($15) are 1-hour sessions limited to 4 players per court. All players play the whole time, and you can choose a game that best matches your skill level:
Recreational (3.0)
Intermediate (3.5)
Competitive (4.0+)
Learn to Play Sessions ($18) are perfect for first-timers looking to learn the rules and how to keep score. These 1-hour sessions are limited to 4 players per court, so you get to put the lesson to use right away.
